Crustacea have the head and thorax joined into a cephalothorax and have legs with two branches. Arthropods are known from the earliest Cambrian, and crustacea from soon afterwards.

Ager libanensis is a shrimp from the Cretaceous deposits of Mount Haekel, Lebanon.
